Core Values

Biblical Truth - The Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God and is the authoritative basis of our learning and teaching.   (2 Tm 3:16)

All are Loved - God wants all of His people to have a personal love relationship with Him.  (1Jn 4:9; Lk 2:10)

All need God - Each of us needs God in order to experience life to its fullest on Earth and to have eternal (forever) life.  (Jn10:10; Rom 6:23)

All need to Admit - Each of us needs to acknowledge our sin (imperfections) and selfishness before a Holy (perfect) God. (Rom: 3:23; Is 59:2)

Unconditional/Sacrificial Love - God sent His Son, Jesus, to die as an atoning sacrifice to forgive sin so that all who believe and choose Jesus as Lord & Savior can enter into a personal relationship/friendship with God and experience abundant and eternal life. (Jn 3:16, 17:3; 1 Tm 2:5-6)

Power - The power source by which we have abundant and eternal life is the Holy Spirit living in us. (Jn 15:5, 16:3)

All are Called - Each of us is called to love God and other people with the same unconditional/sacrificial love God shows toward us. (Mt 22:3 -39; Jn 15:12; Mk 12:29-31)

All are Capable - All people (no matter what their physical or intellectual capacity) can have a personal relationship with God and know Jesus as Savior and Lord. (Jas 2:5)

Prayer - Talking and listening to God (prayer) are essential in our relationship with God. (Jas 5:16; Phil 4:6-7; 1Thes 5:16-18)

All are Equal - We are all equal in God’s sight. (Acts 10:34-36)

All are Important - God creates every individual with a unique and equally important role in His community. (1 Cor 12:12-25)

All Need Community - Each person/family needs a supportive community in which to serve and grow. (Acts 2:42-44, 4:32-35)

All are Teachers & Learners - Including individuals with disabilities blesses and teaches us simplicity, basic trust and dependency and how to “unlearn” our “worldly ways”.  We all learn from each other how to depend on God. (Mt 18:1-4)

All are Servants - Each person is uniquely gifted and able to serve one another in love. (Eph 6:7, Rom 12:11)

Acceptance - Jesus accepts us as we are, so we accept and love people as they are, despite our differences. (Rom 15:7)

Excellence - We must strive to do all things with excellence.  (Col 3:23-24)

Outreach - We gently and respectfully share the Gospel (“good news”) message of grace with love to all who are interested. (Mt 28:19-20; Mk 16:15-16)
